I signed up for Skillshare as a free trial.
The afternoon BEFORE my trial was designed to finish I got the email from them thanking me to Premium.
Obviously, I was confused. It is normal for organizations to offer free trials in hopes you like the item enough to really pay for it. What is not normal is for the company to LIE to you and bill you daily before the free trial is supposed to even finish, in effect frees you and then stealing your cash. I was furious.
I looked on the internet and following 30 minutes of digging, I found a phone number for your company (Red flag, and exactly what legitimate company does not have an easily accessible customer service number?) . I called that number and it went directly to voicemail. The voice on the research seemed like a stoned college kid, complete with "ums" and "likes"(Red flag Number two). At this point I was freaking out cause all these experiences were leading me to think this really was a scam. The only real option left to me is to write them an email via their site. This was over 3 months past, and I have yet to get a response.
I'm appalled at how they handle company (by first tricking their clients, then dismissing their concerns). They stole my money without any warning and are now unreachable.
I moved visit the site back on their own site and even their advertisement for Premium is really a lie. It clearly says that your Premium account is cancelable at any time. What they actually mean is you're able to cancel it so that it will not revive at the next billing cycle (which will be an entire year!!) . They What is Skillshare - Selz FounderU are crooks. If their content were really good, I'd have happily continued using their solutions, but each of their videos are items I could locate on YouTube or other areas for free. The one thing that I am do now is save others the hassle.
DO NOT register for the free trial. Should you do a little more research you will find a plethora of other reviews such as mine.
Proceed to Lynda.com or YouTube. Please, do not make the exact same mistake that I did, and stay away!!
I composed Skillshare a final time, also it looks like from the past 4 months they have really upped their client support match. I obtained a biased response apologizing for my previous experience and with an offer to repay me all my money. This gesture was more than I expected, and I am thankful to know that people do really work in this business, and it appears they are listening to the negative reviews and trying to create a better firm. I have a sour taste in my mouth, but I feel like once they ended up giving me all my money back I need to upgrade my review and provide them more than one celebrity.
